Cookie Day!

It's Sears Cookie Day!

Our unit will be selling from 12-2 at Sears Westmount Mall in London. We'll be at the main entrance of Sears which leads out into the Mall.

We'll be selling Chocolate Mint Cookies and *some* Chocolate & Vanilla.

All proceeds from cookie day helps fund our upcoming camp!

Come out and support the Girl Guides of Canada!

Tree Planting

Just a reminder the 115 Brownies are tree planting today (September 22) at Mitches Park.

We're going to meet in the parking lot in the Upper Park at 12:45 p.m. and pick up will be 2:45 p.m. in the upper park.

Be sure to wear old clothing and bring a water bottle.

This is part of the TD Tree Days planting initiative. It goes towards earning a badge and the most important thing ...it helps our environment.

Remember the Brownie motto of Lend a Hand and our promise:

I promise to do my best,

Be true to myself, my beliefs and Canada,

I will take action for a better world

and respect the Brownie law.

Tonight's the Night!

Our first night is tonight! We meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the White Oaks Public School lunch room.

We're so excited. We'll be loading the calendar soon.

We have an exciting first night planned.

September's Coming!

I hope everyone had a fantastic summer! Tawny Owl and I certainly did.

We're looking forward to starting another fantastic year of Brownies!

Our first meeting is scheduled for Monday September 10, 2012 at White Oaks Public School from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

There's still lots of time to join and remember we always accept new members. We're the 115th London Brownies.

We have an exciting year planned. Hopefully in the next week I'll be loading up our first set of calendars so you can see what our unit is up to.
